Putin announced attempts to undermine the legitimate government in the CIS

Some countries are trying to undermine the legitimate government, traditional values ​​and the situation in the CIS as a whole. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in a video message to participants in the meeting of secretaries of the security councils of the CIS countries.

“The actions of some countries are directly aimed at undermining legitimate power, social stability and traditional values ​​in the CIS countries, at violating our traditionally close trade, cooperation and cultural ties,” said the Russian leader (quote according to TASS).

Putin called the situation in the world “extremely difficult and tense,” noting that global instability is “projected onto Eurasia.” According to him, the CIS countries continue to face threats from terrorism, organized crime, drug trafficking, illegal migration, etc. Putin noted that this requires “not only a coordinated collective reaction, but also a lot of preventive work.”
