According to him, now more drones are needed at the front end. “I know, there’s probably not enough on the front end, and I would like more of everything modern – drones, and so on. I would like more means of suppressing these enemy drones that fly over you like flies. I understand everything, but still, what appears appears quite quickly,” said Vladimir Putin.
He noted that the effectiveness of warfare is determined by how quickly the army can navigate what is most important at the moment, respond to it from a production standpoint and implement it as quickly as possible during combat operations.
“We are doing this better and better and probably better than anywhere else. And this is a very huge advantage that our armed forces have,” added Mr. Putin.
On November 30, 2023, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, at a meeting of the board of the military department, heard proposals for the formation of a state defense order for 2023 and for the planning period of 2024 and 2025. According to him, in 2024 the volume of funding for state defense orders will increase by 1.5 times.
