“In continuation of the regular dialogue at the highest level, it is planned to discuss issues of further development of Russian-Kazakh relations of strategic partnership and cooperation,” the report says.
The parties will also discuss issues of bilateral cooperation within the framework of integration associations, including the CIS, in which Kazakhstan chairs this year.
The last time Putin and Tokayev met in person was at the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), during which the President of Kazakhstan, in particular, declared on the non-recognition of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics by Nur-Sultan. Later that month, they, along with the leaders of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Iran, discussed the development of the economy and logistics in the region during the Caspian Summit in Ashgabat.
