Putin and Lukashenko started an informal meeting in Sochi

Presidents of Russia and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko began their meeting in an informal setting in Sochi, transmits Telegram channel “Pool of the First”.

Earlier, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the meeting will pass Putin’s residence “Bocharov Ruchey”. After it, the head of state will go to Sirius, where he will meet with the heads of foreign delegations who take part in the meetings of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and the Council of CIS Heads of Government, and after that he will hold a working meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Previously, a separate meeting of the Presidents of Russia and Belarus took place 5th of April. In the open part of the event, Putin noted the successful work of the countries in various areas, including in the area of ​​security and the economy. Lukashenka, in turn, spoke about the implementation of 28 union programs by almost 80%.

In addition, on May 25, Lukashenka came to Moscow to attend a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, which was held in the Grand Kremlin Palace. The event, in addition to Putin and Lukashenko, was also attended by Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov and Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich.
