A monument to Fidel Castro is installed on the square of the same name in the Sokol district. Its authors are sculptor Alexei Chebanenko and architect Andrei Bely.
In addition, the presidents of Russia and Cuba held talks today. Earlier, the Kremlin press service reported that the leaders of the two countries plan to discuss cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The presidents will also touch on key topics on the international agenda.
