Putin allowed the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to use the fleet of the special squad “Russia”

President Vladimir Putin signed a decree according to which the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev can use the fleet of the special summer detachment “Russia”, transporting top officials of the state. Document published on the Internet portal of legal information.
According to the decree, in addition to the president, the following officials can use the special squad’s fleet:
- Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation (currently Mikhail Mishustin);
- Chairman of the Federation Council (Valentina Matvienko);
- Chairman of the State Duma (Vyacheslav Volodin);
- Chairman of the Supreme Court (Vyacheslav Lebedev);
- Chairman of the Constitutional Court (Valery Zorkin);
- Prosecutor General (Igor Krasnov);
- Chairman of the Investigative Committee (Alexander Bastrykin);
- Head of the Presidential Administration (Anton Vaino);
- Minister of Foreign Affairs (Sergei Lavrov).
Now this list has been supplemented by the Minister of Internal Affairs. Since 2012, this position has been occupied by Vladimir Kolokoltsev.
The special flight squad “Russia” is intended for air transportation, including important persons of the Russian special services or the Russian Armed Forces. The fleet is based at Vnukovo Airport in the special government terminal “Vnukovo-2”. As of July 2022, the fleet contains 71 aircraft.
