Pushkov: Austin, who allowed Russia to go to war with NATO, does not fully understand his words
Senator Alexei Pushkov said in his Telegram channel that Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin, who previously announced the risk of conflict between NATO and Russia after the defeat of Ukraine, “does not fully” understand what he is talking about.
According to him, an author for the German magazine Spiegel previously published an article in which he questioned whether the conflict in Ukraine is really a “German conflict” and how far the West can go in it.
Thus, the senator explained that Western countries are beginning to think about the possible consequences of a military confrontation with Russia over Kyiv.
“However, this does not apply to French President Emmanuel Macron, nor to aggressive British ministers, nor to Lloyd Austin, who allows a war between the North Atlantic Alliance and Russia. Most likely, these politicians do not fully understand what they are talking about,” the senator noted.
