Aleksey Pushkov, Chairman of the Federation Council Commission on Information Policy, expressed hope in his Telegram channel that the people of Poland have a vision of the meaning of the existence of their state, which is different from what the Prime Minister expresses

Earlier, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki called the defeat of Russia the raison d’être of Poland. According to him, the conflict in Ukraine in Poland is considered primarily an existential threat to themselves and all of Europe. “Victory over Russia is both Polish and European state sense,” Morawiecki said in an interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.

Pushkov noted that the fact that Morawiecki and others like him have the whole meaning of life in crazy dreams of victory over Russia is clear without words.

“I don’t think, however, that the entire Polish people have such a narrow horizon. I would like to hope that the Poles see a wider and deeper meaning for the existence of the Polish nation and its 38 million people than the outrageous attitudes about victory over the world’s leading nuclear power,” he wrote.

Earlier, Morawiecki also stated that the Leopard and M1 Abrams tanks would not help Ukraine win. According to him, something more is needed for this. Morawiecki recently compared the European Union to a drug addict dependent on Russian gas. In his opinion, this is why Brussels agrees to any energy prices, providing Moscow with a stable income.
