February 10 in Moscow in the main Museum of A.S. Pushkin hosts mournful events related to the date of death of the great poet. A MK correspondent visited the mansion on Prichistinka, where an exhibition about the tragic duel and death of Pushkin is opening.

It was on February 10 (January 29, old style) that Alexander Sergeevich died. According to a long-standing tradition, the museum, together with dozens of fans, honored his memory with a minute of silence, and to the nearest minute – at 14.45.

It was at this moment 187 years ago that the heart of the great poet stopped beating.
