The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, expressed confidence that the statements of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky about the “Mariupol Tribunal” would not disrupt its holding.
“It is necessary to approach Zelensky’s statements with a certain skepticism,” he stressed in an interview with Rossiya-24. – All criminals, especially neo-Nazis from “Azov” (recognized as a terrorist organization and banned in the Russian Federation – Ed.) should be punished accordingly. He also noted that “there are a lot of such crimes.”
Preparations for the tribunal over the Ukrainian military, as Pushilin added, are coming to an end. The investigating authorities, on which the appointment of the date of the first tribunal depends, are working. “The materials on 80 episodes of Azov’s crimes are fully prepared,” the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic specified. “23 people have already been arrested and are being held elsewhere.”
