Pushilin promised to restore the champagne factory in Artemovsk

The factory of champagne wines in Artemovsk will work again after the restoration of the city. About it declared in an interview with RIA Novosti, Acting Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.
“Part of the production <...> capacities have been preserved, so the enterprise will work absolutely accurately. It is clear that not tomorrow and not the day after tomorrow, but after Artemovsk is restored,” he specified.
Pushilin added that the work of other enterprises will also be resumed in the city.
The Artyomovsk Champagne Winery (Artwinery) was the largest sparkling wine producer in Eastern Europe and the only one in Ukraine, according to the company’s website.
The plant was founded in Artemovsk in 1950, the products came out under the brand name “Soviet Champagne”. After the collapse of the USSR in 1991, the company began to produce sparkling wines under its own trademarks Artyomovskoye and Krym.
In April of this year, Pushilin informedthat, according to the documents found at the plant, the main founder and shareholder of the enterprise is the wife of the former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko Marina.
On May 20, the founder of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin announced the capture of Artemovsk. On the night of May 21, the transfer of the city under the control of Russia confirmed in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated PMC “Wagner” and the Russian military with the capture of Artemovsk. At the end of May Pushilin emphasizedthat not only housing will be restored in the city, but also jobs and social infrastructure.
