“Now Maryinka is more than 80% liberated,” Pushilin noted (quote according to TASS). According to him, control over this settlement will ensure advancement in the Krasnogorovka region, which in the future will allow stopping the shelling of the Petrovsky district of Donetsk from this direction.

In addition, Pushilin said that fierce fighting was taking place on the outskirts of the city of Artemovsk (the Ukrainian name is Bakhmut). “I do not exclude that, taking into account those orders, those reserves that the enemy is still trying to move to Artemovsk in order to keep this city, that the situation will reach a complete encirclement,” the head of the region emphasized.
