The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, commented on reports that US President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson today announced new military aid packages to Kyiv. At the same time, Washington allocated the largest package since the start of the special operation, almost $3 billion.
“The United States and Great Britain are increasing the stakes in the war by announcing new packages of military assistance to Ukraine,” Pushilin wrote on his Telegram channel, adding that these actions show all the beneficiaries of the conflict.
In particular, he drew attention to the fact that British assistance is aimed at improving the capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in detecting distant targets. According to Pushilin, if we are talking about the Donbass, then the Armed Forces of Ukraine are planning to retreat. Then he asks the question, if the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not plan to retreat, then we are talking about distant targets on the territory of Russia.
As for US assistance of $3 billion, the head of the DPR noted that this “amount suggests that America is going for broke.”
“Washington is betting everything on Ukraine to withstand the confrontation,” Pushilin concludes.
At the same time, he added that by financing Ukraine, Western countries become customers of “war crimes committed by Kyiv.”
