Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov is sure that the mobilization system that currently exists in Russia needs to be modernized.
Krasnov stated this in an interview with RIA Novosti, the agency cites his words on Wednesday, October 12.
“Certainly, the existing mobilization system requires modernization, the introduction of intelligent advanced technologies in a closed circuit,” said Igor Krasnov.
In his opinion, in the current situation, it is wrong to “make military registration and enlistment offices “extreme”.
“On the contrary, it is necessary to provide collective assistance in organizing work without failures, and prosecutors are actively engaged in this within their powers,” he said.
On September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization in Russia. On October 10, at a meeting with elected governors, the head of state said that on the issue of mobilization, “unfortunately, we have enough stupidity.” According to him, the problems in this area, apparently, have been accumulating for a long time and now there is a good reason to “deal with all these issues.”
