Australian activist found dead after 10 days away
british Daily Mail reported that in Australia, on the outskirts of Sydney, local activist James Walters, who supported Russia, including during public actions, was found dead. The 42-year-old Australian disappeared on May 13, his body was not found until the 23rd.
According to RIA Novosti, an activist of Russian origin Semyon Boikov, Walters came to rallies in support of Russia and against the provision of military assistance to Ukraine. In pictures from social networks, the deceased is depicted with the symbols of the DPR and even a poster “Ukraine is a terrorist state, support Russia!”.
As noted by the interlocutor of the agency, Walters has recently complained about threats from the Ukrainian diaspora, and therefore murder or incitement to suicide cannot be ruled out here.
According to the British edition, the Australian police have not yet been ready to share any conclusions regarding the cause of the activist’s death.
