Prizes will be raffled among participants of electronic voting in Moscow

For Muscovites who take part in remote electronic voting (DEG) in the mayoral elections in the capital and in 13 municipalities of New Moscow, a prize draw will be launched. This is reported on site mayor of Moscow.

The section about the draw among the participants of the DEG was opened on the website of the Million Prizes program. Voting participants will be able to take part in the #ChooseTogether2023 campaign during a three-day voting, from 8 to 10 September.

According to the conditions, the winners will receive 1,000, 3,000 or 5,000 reward points (one point equals one ruble), they can be exchanged for purchases from program partners, the mayor’s office said. 2.3 million prizes have been prepared for Muscovites, and the drawings themselves will be held on September 9, 10 and 11. Prize points will be offered to the winners to spend in shops, restaurants and cafes, museums and theaters or to donate to charity.

The Million Prizes program to stimulate participation in the DEG was also organized for the 2022 elections. On July 26 this year, the head of the CEC, Ella Pamfilova informed about 66,000 applications for participation in electronic voting in the autumn elections of 2023. As noted by the CEC, the results of the DEG in the elections will be made public almost immediately after the polling stations are closed. In August, the chairman of the Central Election Commission statedthat the introduction of remote voting will take place only at the request of the regions.
