According to People magazine, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle held a secret christening ceremony for their daughter Lilibet on March 3 at their home in California in the United States.
The ceremony in Los Angeles was conducted by Archbishop John Taylor.
At the same time, the publication notes that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex violated several royal rules at once. So, Lilibet was baptized at 21 months, while royal offspring are usually baptized at the age of 6 months. In addition, the ceremony should be held in the format of royal events.
The modest family event was reportedly attended by no one from the royal family, although invitations were sent out to King Charles, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
It is known that Megan’s mother Doria Gagland was present, and cinematographer Tyler Perry became the girl’s godfather.
