The Netherlands intends to join the initiative of the United States and Germany and supply Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM) to Ukraine, Prime Minister Mark Rutte said.

Ukraine also received and continues to receive T-72M / M1 / M1R tanks of Czechoslovak and Polish production from the Czech Republic and Poland, M-55S tanks from Slovenia and former own T-72A tanks delivered 20 years ago to Macedonia. The Polish authorities also decided to transfer a company of Leopard tanks to Kyiv as part of an international coalition.
The Russian authorities have repeatedly criticized the supply of Western weapons to Kyiv. In particular, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, has repeatedly pointed out that pumping Ukraine with weapons brings NATO closer to the dangerous line of a direct military clash with Russia.
December 15 Russian Embassy in the USA warned Washington on the consequences if the Patriot air defense system is sent to Ukraine. This decision by the United States is a “provocative step” and could lead to “unpredictable consequences,” the embassy said.
