Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and leader of the far-right Vox party Santiago Abascal reproached a friend for sympathizing with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Earlier in the Congress of Deputies (the lower house of the Spanish Parliament), debates began on the proposal of the extreme right to pass a vote of no confidence in Sanchez.
The prime minister, speaking to the deputies, reminded Abaskal of his posts on Twitter, in which he “praised” the Russian president. These tweets were subsequently deleted.
In turn, the leader of the far right said that some ministers in Sancheswa’s cabinet “are asking for a peace agreement with Putin,” and the Russian president himself has “clear support” among a number of government members.
Earlier, the Spanish right accused the incumbent prime minister of “destroying the economy and the middle class”, “undermining the prosperity” of the people of Spain.
