Latvian Prime Minister Krisjanis Karins believes that the West will eventually supply military aircraft to Ukraine. He said this in an interview with Spiegel.
“The delivery of combat aircraft is just a matter of time. I don’t understand why the West shouldn’t supply fighter jets,” Karins said in an interview with Spiegel magazine.
The Latvian prime minister believes that if Kyiv needs combat aircraft, then it is necessary to provide them. Riga would hand over both planes and tanks if it had them, Karins added.
He also urged to begin negotiations on Ukraine’s accession to the EU and NATO as soon as possible.
