Military-appointed Prime Minister Ali Mahamane Lamine Zein said that Niger does not currently rule out the possibility of a military invasion of the country and is ready to repel it.
According to him, there is no need to have any illusions now; something can happen at any moment.
“Despite this, Niger has a battle-hardened army. Our military is much stronger than terrorists. In the event that any state decides to attack us, we will defend ourselves,” Zain said.
