Prigozhin explained why the court refused to recognize him as the founder of Wagner PMC

The press service of Yevgeny Prigozhin published his commentary on the decision of the court, which did not actually recognize him as the head of the Wagner PMC. As it became known earlier, the Presnensky District Court of Moscow refused to satisfy the application of the former editor-in-chief of the Ekho Moskvy radio station Alexei Venediktov to review the court decision in the proceedings between him and Prigozhin. Prigozhin sued Venediktov in 2021, demanding that he refute the information that he is the “owner of the PMC.” In September 2022, Prigozhin admitted that he was the founder of the company.
Prigozhin was asked to explain why the court, considering Venediktov’s complaint, ignored his words that he was really in charge of this PMC.
“I think that the refusal is connected with the incredible consolidation of society,” Prigogine said, “which rejects the liberal anti-Russian threat.”
He added that “of course, I feel sorry for Venediktov,” because “everyone fled, and he alone takes the rap for them.”
