Prigozhin accused Akhmedov of recording a conversation about Putin

Producer Joseph Prigozhin commented on the EU’s decision not to extend sanctions against businessman Farhad Akhmedov. At the beginning of the year, an audio recording circulated on the Internet in which voices similar to those of Prigozhin and Akhmedov were heard, and events in Russia and the actions of the authorities, including President Vladimir Putin, were discussed in a sharply negative manner. From the very beginning, Prigozhin categorically denied involvement in such a conversation and called it a fake created using a neural network. Now he believes that the orderer of the scandalous recording is also obvious.
Prigogine believes that he himself – or rather, his famous surname – “purely used” to attract attention to the recording, but in fact, no one is interested in the music producer from a political point of view. It could be beneficial for Akhmedov to show himself disloyal to Moscow and improve his position in Europe.
“Explain to society that he is absolutely not loyal,” Prigozhin told Podem. “How else can he prove this? <...> Such a loud thing – the scheme works.”
Prigozhin added that now he doesn’t communicate with Akhmedov at all, and in general he tries not to open his mouth too much: “I’m even afraid to talk to trees.”
