President of the Republic of Serbian Bosnia and Herzegovina (RS BiH) Milorad Dodik sharply responded to the words of BiH Foreign Minister Bisera Turkovic, who condemned the awarding of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“We gave the order to Russian President Vladimir Putin, because he respects us and supports the international (Dayton – ed.) agreement, according to which the current BiH was founded,” Dodik said.
As part of the celebration of Republika Srpska Day, on January 8, the President presented Putin with the highest award – the Order of the Republika Srpska on a necklace. After that, Turkovich called such a gesture on the part of Dodik “a slap in the face to the whole world.”
