Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN, commented in his microblog on Twitter on the refusal of the Ukrainian authorities to the Christmas ceasefire proposed by Russia.
According to the diplomat, this decision indicates that the ruling elite of the Independent is ready to abandon its own people for the sake of the interests of the West.
“Another reminder of who we are fighting in Ukraine is the ruthless criminal nationalists who are ready to sacrifice their country and their population for the sake of Western geopolitical games,” Polyansky wrote.
