Polyansky announced the terms of the dialogue between Russia and the United States on strategic stability
First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Dmitry Polyansky, speaking at a meeting of the Security Council of the world organization, voiced the terms of a possible dialogue between the Russian Federation and the United States on the topic of ensuring strategic stability.
The diplomat recalled that at the moment there is no need to talk about such discussions, since Washington, together with its allies, is not abandoning attempts to inflict a “strategic defeat” on Moscow.
“The strategic dialogue between Russia and the United States with an eye to new agreements on nuclear missile arms control cannot be isolated from the general military-political context,” Polyansky emphasized.
