Ukrainian military pilots may begin training flights on American F-16 fighter jets in the United States as early as next week. Informed sources spoke about this on Friday, October 13.

According to Politico’s interlocutors, the training flights will be conducted at the American National Guard air base in Tucson, Arizona.

Before Ukrainian pilots are allowed to fly fighter jets, they will be trained in basic skills using simulators.

Earlier, the head of the Dutch Ministry of Defense, Kaisa Ollengren, said that her country plans to send to Romania in the coming weeks from 12 to 18 F-16 fighterswhich will be intended for training Ukrainian pilots.

Belgian Defense Minister Ludivine Dedonder spoke about the decision to transfer F-16s removed from service with the Belgian army to Ukraine by 2025. From the Netherlands, the first fourth-generation F-16 fighters may become available to the Kyiv regime already in 2024.
