The Foundation for the Development of Civil Society (FORGO) on Wednesday summed up the political results of the year. The main speakers were two venerable political scientists who are members of both the presidential administration and United Russia: the head of the foundation, Konstantin Kostin, and the head of the scientific council of the Center for Current Politics Alexei Chesnakov. According to the first, a new consensus has formed in society, the ratings of the authorities are stable, and the “Putin majority” has moved to version 3.0, but at the same time, there is a high “volatility of mood” among Russians. And Mr. Chesnakov added that it will definitely not be “as before”, and how it will be will become known after the President’s message: and even if it does not take place in 2023, this will also be a message.
