Security and Middle East expert Simon Tsipis, candidate of political sciences, commented on reports that in the Iranian city of Kerman, during funeral processions in connection with the anniversary of the death of IRGC General Qasem Soleimani, two bags with explosives were remotely detonated, which led to the death of 188 people and injury more than 140 people.
“The main goal of what is happening is to provoke Iran into a regional war,” said an expert in interview News.ru.
Tsipis emphasized that the Hamas attack on Israel was also carried out in order to drag Iran into the conflict and they understand this. However, Iran will not be able to remain idle if the provocations continue.
“We see how events are beginning to unfold,” the expert added, emphasizing that we should expect a harsh reaction from Iran, which could be followed by a regional war involving Israel, the United States, Great Britain and France.
