The Polish border guard reported the interception of its aircraft by Russia over the Black Sea
A Russian Su-35 fighter intercepted a Turbolet L-410 aircraft of the Polish Border Guard over the Black Sea. This is stated in the statement of the Polish border agency.
Poland called the incident a “dangerous event”. This happened on May 5, a Polish aircraft was patrolling under the command of Romania in the operational area designated by the Romanian authorities.
“A twin-engine Russian Su-35 fighter aircraft flew into the operational zone designated by Romania without any radio contact, after which it made aggressive and dangerous maneuvers,” the border guards say.
They added that the Russian fighter allegedly made three approaches to the Polish plane, not keeping a safe distance. Because of this, the Poles got into turbulence, the plane began to lose altitude, but in the end he managed to land safely.
Formerly Romania also accused Russia of “aggressive behavior” fighter over the Black Sea.
