Deputy Head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Poland Kolodziejczak ordered to check all Ukrainian grain

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Poland Michal Kolodziejczak said that he ordered that all grain from Ukraine arriving in the country be subjected to inspections.

Kolodziejczak said that often Ukrainian grain that does not meet European quality standards is supplied in transit through Poland to other countries, which subsequently ends up in Poland again, but “as European.”

Polish authorities have established an embargo on Ukrainian grain. Restrictions on its import into all EU countries were in effect until September 15, and then were lifted, but Poland, Hungary and Slovakia extended them unilaterally.
