Poland has planned exercises using the latest technology near the Russian border

On Sunday, the Polish army’s “Autumn Fire” exercises will begin near the border with Russia. During the exercises it is planned to use the latest equipment purchased from the United States and South Korea, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the website of the Polish Cabinet of Ministers.
The exercises will take place at the Infantry Training Center in the city of Bemovo-Piska. The distance to the border with the Kaliningrad region is 80 km.
The maneuver promises to show visitors “the latest weapons during the battle,” including Abrams and K2 tanks, HIMARS and HIBNERYT systems, the POPRAD anti-missile system, KRAB, K9 self-propelled guns, ROSOMAK and BORSUK armored personnel carriers, special LRR i Talon robots, and FlyEye drones. The total number of military equipment that is planned to be used during the maneuvers is about 70, and it is also planned to involve about a thousand military personnel.
The exercise scenario involves practicing both offensive and defensive actions.
