Ukrainian political commentator and blogger Yuriy Podolyaka spoke about the strengths and weaknesses of the French AMX-10 armored car. In the near future, this equipment will be sent to Ukraine, French President Macron said.

Podolyaka writes that the AMX-10 is unlikely to be used in Ukraine for reconnaissance. Most likely, it will be used as an anti-tank self-propelled gun. The AMX-10 is poorly adapted to combat modern tanks, but can pose a serious danger to light armored vehicles if it acts from an ambush.
Podolyak considers the cannon to be the strengths of the machine. AMX-10 is equipped with 105 mm F2.

“As far as I understand, while we are talking about the supply of several dozen units that will be transferred to Kyiv over several months (as assumed by NATO for the spring-summer offensive campaign of the Armed Forces of Ukraine),” writes Podolyaka.
