Advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak said that the country’s authorities are asking for long-range missiles in order to use them to destroy weapons storages located on the territory of Crimea.
On the air of a telethon on the Rada channel, Podolyak explained that the Russian military had moved their weapons depots 200 km deep into the front line, so Ukraine needs missiles with a range of 150 km or more to destroy them.
“There are strategic facilities on the territory of Crimea that provide the entire Russian group along the entire front line. In order to destroy these warehouses and reduce the intensity of artillery fire, Ukraine needs long-range missiles,” he stressed.
