Adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak commented on the air of the Rada TV channel that the Pentagon had begun investigating the leak of documents, including those classified as “secret”, which describe the state of the Ukrainian troops, as well as the plans of the United States and NATO for their strengthening.
According to Podolyak, these are analytical documents in which there is no “wow” effect. He noted that one of the documents states that Ukraine lacks air defense systems. “That’s how we publicly declare it,” the adviser added.
Podolyak also stressed that he did not see how this leak could be painful for Ukraine’s relations with Western partners, as trust remained.
“This will in no way undermine our relations with partners,” Podolyak expressed confidence.
At the same time, CNN previously reported that Kyiv had to change some military plans due to the publication of classified documents on the Web.
