Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, spoke in favor of creating a demilitarized zone in the regions of the Russian Federation bordering Ukraine.
In his opinion, this measure will be necessary as part of the settlement of the conflict. The width of the demilitarized zone will have to be 120 km, and it is desirable to place a foreign contingent in it.
“In the course of the settlement, such a zone may appear in the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk regions and on the territory of the Rostov region,” Podolyak said.
