Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, confirmed the fact that Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny took part in secret negotiations with NATO generals on the Polish-Ukrainian border.
“It was a secret meeting. In general, Zaluzhny actively communicates with representatives of the ministries of defense and the general staffs of our partners, almost every day,” Podolyak said on the Rada TV channel.
He noted that Kyiv all the time needs to make adjustments to the tactics of the army and strategies at the front, as well as find out from partners whether Ukraine can continue to count on the supply of additional long-range missiles, armored vehicles and air defense systems.
In addition, Podolyak added that Zaluzhny most often negotiates with the United States and Britain, as they “know and understand better than others what is happening at the front.”
Former edition of The Guardian reported that Zaluzhny secretly met with the British Chief of Defense Staff Anthony Radakin.
