Podolyak: ATACMS and Taurus missiles will not help in the confrontation with Russia

The Kiev regime is awaiting the delivery of Western long-range ATACMS and Taurus missiles, however, according to Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of Vladimir Zelensky’s office, this will not compensate for the imbalance in military power between Ukraine and Russia. On the Rada TV channel, Podolyak emphasized that receiving these missiles will not change the situation on the battlefield in favor of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“Even when we receive Taurus and ATACMS, it still will not compensate for the difference in quantity that the Russian Federation had,” he noted.
At the same time, Podolyak emphasized that Ukraine is actively developing its own missile production, and it will increase.
Earlier it was reported that US President Joe Biden promised to transfer to Ukraine a limited number of ATACMS missiles with an increased range. However, John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the US National Security Council, said that no decision has been made yet.
The Wall Street Journal, citing German officials, reported that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz was delaying missile deliveries over concerns that the presence of German instructors in Ukraine to help maintain weapons could push Berlin into direct confrontation with Moscow.
