Russian war correspondent Yevgeny Poddubny wrote on his Telegram channel that today’s attack on Lugansk could have been carried out by the Armed Forces of Ukraine using the so-called ADM-160 MALD decoy missile.
This is actually an unmanned aerial vehicle, which was created to jam and simulate the flight of a combat aircraft as a target or decoy. Various modifications of these devices can fly from 460 to 575 km.
The military correspondent posted photos of the rocket itself and its debris. According to preliminary data, the wreckage was found near the site of the impact on the Poly-Pack plant in Lugansk.
“The first evidence in my memory of the use of these American missiles – air defense deceptions in the NVO zone,” Poddubny wrote.
Previously, nowhere was it officially reported that such missiles were transferred to Kyiv.
