The governor of the city, Alexander Beglov, in his annual report to the legislative assembly, in turn, said that the AvtoVAZ concern, which received the plant, will release the first production Lada car from its assembly line in mid-June. By the end of the year, it is planned to produce more than 10 thousand cars at the site.
Subordinate to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia FSUE NAMI I bought 100% of the Russian assets of the Nissan automaker, which left the Russian market after the start of a special military operation. Production and research centers in St. Petersburg also became the property of NAMI. Responsibility for after-sales service of vehicles and the supply of spare parts was transferred to AvtoVAZ.
