Peskov: Western support for Kyiv will decline

Western countries’ support for Kyiv will decline regardless of the situation in Israel. This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.
“We have repeatedly said that the process of pumping up the Kyiv regime with weapons from a factual, emotional, financial, technological point of view will one way or another enter into a downward trend. This will inevitably happen because technical capabilities have their limits, money tends to run out, new needs arise for where to allocate funds,” he said.
According to Peskov, this process is also influenced by “emotional fatigue,” and questions are also increasingly arising about “what exactly is the money of foreign taxpayers spent on.”
At the same time, Peskov emphasized that the situation with Western support for Kyiv is not related to events in Israel. He added that in the special operation zone “everything is going according to plan,” and “the situation in Israel is completely different events.”
On September 30, the US House of Representatives approved an interim project to finance the country’s government, which will ensure its operation within 45 days. He excludes the provision of additional financial assistance to Ukraine. The document was later approved by the Senate and signed by US President Joe Biden.
EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell stated about the uncertainty that has arisen regarding Washington’s support for Kyiv. He also said about the impossibility of compensating aid to Ukraine, which was suspended by the United States, at the expense of EU funds. Previously, the politician emphasized that the EU continues to support Ukraine and is also working with the United States so that Washington continues to help Kyiv.
