“Of course, by all available means, primarily legal and legal, our company will defend its interests,” Peskov answered a question from journalists about Moscow’s reaction to possible lawsuits against Gazprom because of the precedent with Uniper.
Also, the Kremlin representative was asked to comment on media publications about the discussion by the EU countries of the oil price ceiling of $60 per barrel. Peskov refused to evaluate these reports and urged to wait for an official decision.

According to reports, the energy company entered into long-term contracts for the supply of about 37 billion cubic meters. m of gas, of which about 20 billion cubic meters. m accounted for Russia. Contracts with Russia played a significant role in providing gas to Europe and especially Germany, which is 90% dependent on imported gas, Uniper explained.
