Peskov ruled out an increase in the level of terrorist threat in Moscow

Moscow and the Moscow region do not plan to raise the level of the terrorist threat. This was stated by the press secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.

Peskov also noted that both in Moscow and in other regions that are being attacked by drones, they are taking all possible measures in order to organize protection at the required level. According to Peskov, the security of citizens and state structures is on the same plane.

On the night of July 30, Ukrainian drones attacked Moscow. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin informedthat, as a result, the facades of two office towers in Moscow City were slightly damaged. There are no victims or injured. According to the Ministry of Defense, the drones fell into Moscow City after being suppressed by electronic warfare. Another drone was shot down by means of air defense in the sky of the Odintsovo district of the Moscow region. The attacks were also repulsed in the Crimea. Now in Moscow there is an increased level of readiness. It was introduced in October 2022 on the territory of the entire Central Federal District and the Southern Federal District. After that, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that no restrictive measures were introduced in the capital.
