The Kremlin website is subject to dozens of cyber attacks every day, but Russian specialists are constantly working to protect it. This statement was made on Saturday by Vladimir Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
“I don’t know if there were any extraordinary attacks. But dozens of attacks are carried out on the Kremlin website every day. Every day for a year,” said the deputy head of the presidential administration, answering the question of whether there were attempts by hackers to prevent the publication of Putin’s interview with an American journalist Tucker Carlson.
Peskov also added that DDoS attacks on the Kremlin website do not stop in order to gain access.
He stressed that intelligence services are constantly working to protect the Kremlin website. However, the speaker could not say whether there were any special cyber attacks on the resource.
