Russian President Vladimir Putin and all administration officials have submitted income declarations, but the publication of these documents in 2023 is not provided. This was announced by the press secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.
“Declarations have all been submitted. Today is the last day, and by the end of the day they will all be handed over. This is done regularly, our anti-corruption division of the presidential administration will now check them all. Often there are various questions for employees, small and more serious. Then the employees have to answer these questions, but the publication is not expected this year,” he said.
Also in the State Duma today reportedthat income declarations were submitted by 96.2% of deputies, including all independent deputies and members of the Communist Party faction. In addition, 96.4% of deputies from A Just Russia for Truth, 96% from United Russia, 95.7% from the Liberal Democratic Party and 86.7% from New People declared their income.
On March 1, a law came into force, according to which income declarations of deputies and senators are published in a generalized form – that is, without indicating the names and surnames of parliamentarians. As Pavel Krasheninnikov, Chairman of the Committee on State Building and Legislation, emphasized, the mechanisms for submitting declarations and their verification remain unchanged. The filing deadline is today, March 31st.
