Peskov: printed maps of Russia need to be changed

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the printed maps of the Russian Federation must be changed in accordance with the changed borders of the country.
According to the Kremlin spokesman, during the development of a bill that will equate maps of Russia with old borders with extremist ones, the relevant nuances will be taken into account.
Recall that at the end of December, the State Duma adopted in the first reading a bill according to which fines of up to a million rubles will be levied for distributing cards that cast doubt on the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation. Such cards, according to the MPs who initiated the bill, are a covert form of propaganda.
Earlier, Dmitry Peskov said that he “can neither confirm nor refute” reports about the appointment of Alexander Lapin as Chief of the General Staff of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces.
