Peskov on the return of relocants from Israel: The Motherland cannot threaten its citizens

There is no threat to relocants who wish to return to their homeland from Israel. This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, reports “RIA News”.
Peskov emphasized that Russians live in many countries of the world, and Russia remains their homeland.
“How can the Motherland threaten?” asked the press secretary of the head of state in surprise when asked whether there was any threat to relocants who wish to return to Russia after the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
The Palestinian group began fighting against Israel on the morning of October 7. In response, the Israeli Army (IDF) launched Operation Iron Swords. The Israeli government announced that the country had entered a state of war. According to Israeli media, over 700 Israelis were killed during the conflict. In Palestine, 2,200 casualties and more than 400 deaths were reported.
The Russian Embassy in Israel at the moment does not have any information about possible dead or injured Russians during the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. At the same time, Russian diplomats are working with the Palestinian authorities, since several thousand Russians live on PNA territory.
