Peskov noted the positive dynamics in the implementation of the NWO

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov suggested not to rush and wait for official information about taking control of Soledar, while he pointed to the presence of positive dynamics in this direction.

“Let’s not rush, let’s wait for official statements. There is a positive trend there. Success in military operations will be achieved when we fulfill the goals set by the Supreme Commander in the course of the NMD,” he said.

Peskov noted the “fantastic heroism of our fighters,” thanks to which important tactical successes in the promotion are taking place.

Acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin today notedthat a turning point came in the liberation of the entire territory of the region after the Russian military took control of Soledar. According to him, this increases the chances for the liberation of Artemovsk and Seversk, and also makes it possible to destroy the front line. In addition, the capture of settlements opens up the possibility of the liberation of Slavyansk and Kramatorsk.

According to Pushilin, Maryinka is almost under Russian control, but its complete liberation is hampered by the fact that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are entrenched in the residential sector on the outskirts of the settlement.

On the night of January 11, Pushilin informed about taking control of the center of Soledar, later the founder of Wagner PMC Evgeny Prigozhin said that the fighters of the group had taken control of the entire territory of Soledar. In the center of the city, according to him, a cauldron was formed in which “urban battles are being fought.”

Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia, and on October 19 martial law was introduced in the regions.
