Foreign media from “unfriendly countries” will not be accredited to the message of Russian President Vladimir Putin, his press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
“Foreign media representing friendly countries will be accredited there. We will not invite foreign media from unfriendly countries there. They will be able to work while watching live on any channel,” he said.
The President will announce the message to the Federal Assembly on February 21. This date was announced on February 10th. According to Peskov, the president will focus on the “current situation.” The last time Putin sent a message to the Federal Assembly took place on April 21, 2021. Last year, despite preparations for the message, it was canceled due to the recognition of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics and the start of a military operation in Ukraine.
