Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the message of Vladimir Putin’s planned address to the Federal Assembly on December 27 is not true. Earlier today, a RIA Novosti source in the State Duma informedthat the event could be scheduled for December 27th.
“No, this is a wrong message,” Mr. Peskov said at a briefing, answering a question about whether the President’s message would take place on December 27.
For the last four years, the president’s messages to the Federal Assembly took place in the first half of the year. From 2011 to 2016 they were held in December.
Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the date of the message this year depends on the president’s “dynamic” schedule. He assured that the President will address the Federal Assembly before the end of the year.
